If you’re planning a The Mansion at Tuckahoe wedding, you’re in for a beautiful waterfront setting with plenty of room to make your day feel like your own. Located in Jensen Beach along the Indian River Lagoon, this historic white mansion pairs Old Florida charm with a polished, elegant atmosphere. As a South Florida wedding photographer and videographer duo, we love venues that offer beautiful natural light, thoughtful spaces, and a backdrop that doesn’t need much added to it.
One of our favorite things about The Mansion at Tuckahoe is how much you can do with the space. You can exchange vows outdoors by the water, host cocktail hour and dinner outside, and personalize the reception area to fit your vision. There’s a lot to love about this Treasure Coast wedding venue.

There’s something special about an all-white mansion sitting right along the water. The setting feels elevated and timeless. Plus, the tropical palms and views of the Indian River Lagoon adding that unmistakable Florida feel. The property has been carefully restored to preserve its historic character. You really get a sense of Old Florida elegance without sacrificing a beautiful backdrop for your wedding.
We also love how versatile the venue is. The white exterior gives couples a clean starting point for their design, whether they’re planning a classic garden-inspired celebration or something more modern. The reception area is a bit of a blank slate. This means your flowers, rentals, lighting, and tablescape can really shape the look of the evening.
And, of course, the waterfront views are a major highlight! They bring a natural sense of place to the day and offer a beautiful setting for portraits throughout the celebration.

The Mansion at Tuckahoe offers a couple of outdoor ceremony locations, giving you options for how you’d like your vows to look and feel. With the lagoon nearby and tropical greenery throughout the property, you have a naturally beautiful setting without needing to overcomplicate your ceremony design.
One helpful detail is that there’s room to set up the ceremony and reception areas at the same time. That means your guests can move from the ceremony into cocktail hour without waiting for the team to flip the same space. It can make the overall flow of your wedding day feel much smoother.

Cocktail hour and receptions typically take place outdoors behind the mansion. This area is especially appealing because it’s a blank slate. You can bring in your preferred rentals, florals, and lighting to create a reception that reflects your style while letting the waterfront setting do some of the work.
Thinking about a tented reception? Ask the venue about tent options and what may be possible for your date and layout. It’s always worth confirming the available setups directly with the venue before making design decisions.

The getting-ready spaces are another highlight, especially if photography is important to you. The mansion has indoor preparation areas, including two second-floor suites.
We love getting-ready spaces with plenty of natural light. Bright rooms make it easier to capture those quieter parts of the morning, from finishing touches and detail photos to candid moments with your closest people. Having dedicated spaces for both sides of the wedding party can also help everyone get ready comfortably before the celebration begins.

If there’s one thing we’d encourage couples to plan for at The Mansion at Tuckahoe, it’s sunset portraits. The waterfront location gives you a beautiful opportunity to take advantage of the changing light, and sunset can be one of the most flattering times for couple portraits.
Talk with your photographer about the sunset time for your wedding date and build a short portrait window into your timeline. You don’t need to disappear for a long stretch of the reception. Even a few minutes away together can give you a different look from your earlier portraits and a chance to take in the setting.

The mansion’s white exterior is a beautiful backdrop for portraits. It keeps the setting classic and lets your attire, florals, and personal details stand out. Between the architecture, waterfront views, and tropical surroundings, there’s variety without needing to leave the property.
One important note: The Mansion at Tuckahoe requires photographers to be on its approved vendor list. We’re on that list, so if you’re considering us for your wedding, you can feel confident that we’re approved to photograph your day at the venue.

The venue’s rental fee includes use of the building and property, along with tables and chairs. Pricing varies depending on the day of the week, rental hours, and guest count, so you’ll need to contact the venue directly for an estimate.
It’s also worth knowing that the property provides a caterer’s kitchen with prep space, refrigeration, an ice machine, and food warmers. Approved licensed caterers can cook on-site, but they’ll need to bring their own cooking equipment. If a licensed caterer isn’t on-site, food must be prepared elsewhere and brought in.
The venue provides staff to manage the facility during your event, but that doesn’t include full wedding planning or day-of coordination. We recommend working with a wedding planner who can help manage your timeline, coordinate vendors, and keep the day running smoothly. If you’d like to hold a rehearsal on the property, check availability with the venue, as scheduling depends on other events.
